DAYULING OOLONG - The most coveted Taiwan high mountain oolong redily available and grown at a height of nearly 2700 meters. Handpicked this spring. An organic tea with little production! Located at the Taiwan Hehuan Mountain, intersection of Nantou, Taizhong, Hualian County, 2,565 meters above sea level, it is Taiwan's highest altitude tea production area. It is generally believed that Taiwan's high mountain tea is the best origin. It is often covered in clouds and midst and surrounded by fresh streams and the cool crisp air of the high mountains. Besides its impressional flavour, there is no road access to some of the plant gardens, local farmers have to carry the tea by human labour, there is very limited supply. Tea here is harvested every spring and fall. The fermentation is between 20% and 25%. This tea can be steeped up to 10 times and the leaves and buds are really something to look at when wet. Each time unlocking a unique flavor. The taste is full and smooth, with a fresh orchid finish. A smooth in the throat feeling emerges when the superb tea is enjoyed. What is 105K? 105K refers to Song Lu tea garden located at the north peak of Hehuan Mt.       Feng Huang Dan Cong

Feng Huang Dan Cong is produced in Feng Huang town, Guang Zhou. Feng Huang town produces Oolong tea from Shui Xian tea tree leaves. Feng Huang Oolong is further divided into three types based on quality. Feng Huang Shui Xian is the most common one. Higher grade one is called Feng Huang Lang Cai. The highest grade one is Feng Huang Dan Cong, which is plucked, processed, packed and sold by single bush. Feng Huang Dan Cong must be plucked in spring, and must be plucked between 1 to 4 pm in sunny but cool days. Otherwise, it will be lack of the Dang Cong aroma. Unlike other teas, Feng Huang Dan Cong is a general name for teas made of leaves of individual premium bush. This gives Feng Huang Dan Cong different aromas, i.e. the Feng Huang Ten Aromas. Among all the Dan Cong teas, those produced from Wu Dong Peak are considered the best. Song Zhong Dan Cong (Old Bush Dan Cong) is made from tea leaves of several hundred year old bushes, and is very rare. Feng Huang Dancong is the best grade of Dancong carried by most tea houses and is the lowest grade we have. While excellent by most standards, it is not a single tree Dancong like the rest of the Dancong line we carry.
