Ease Dysmenorrhea. (Menstrual Suffering Herbal Tea) During the Spring and Autumn Period (476 B.C.), Imperial Concubine Zhao gave a birth to a baby named Yingzheng (namely Chin Dynasty First Emperor) with Ying Yiren when he was a hostage in Zhao. Later, Ying Yiren escaped back to Qin, but he left Imperial Concubine Zhao alone in Zhao. Under the protection of a local ruffian named Laoai, she sequestered herself from the world with Laoai for six years. It was said that during those years, Imperial Concubine Zhao suffered from very serious dysmenorrhea. Fortunately she was taken back to Qin and was treated by a highly skilled doctor named Bianque of that time. He cured Imperial Concubine Zhao successfully by using the fennel and peach kernel. Till now, among the people, they still regard fennel and peach kernel as efficacious medicine for dysmenorrhea.
