Earl Grey Black Tea Is The Most Popular Tea!

Earl Grey Black Tea is made from Ceylon Black Tea and Bergamot oil infused to create a delicious masterpiece! Expect multiple infusions from our Earl Grey loose leaf Black Tea. Normally Earl Grey Black Tea is just average, especially when brewed from tea bags. But ours is the best you've ever tried. Made from organic Taiwan Black Tea and the finest Bergamot oil from France. Our tea blend has a distinctive flavor and aroma derived from the addition of oil extracted from the orange rind.

The Earl Grey black tea is named after Earl Grey, who was a British Prime Minister in the 1800s. He had received a gift from a Chinese merchant which was a tea infused with the oil from a Bergamot orange. The fruit is from a small citrus tree which blossoms during the winter and is grown commercially in Italy. However, the tree is also found in Asia.

Earl Grey Black Tea tastes great!

Apparently, the Chinese man whose son was rescued from drowning by one of Lord Grey's sailors was presented the tea to the Earl sometime in early 1800. This is where the story has alternate lines. The tea was supposed to have been scented by the orange elsewhere, as China was not responsible for this type of flavoring. But, the Chinese would beg to differ! You see, they claim to have been flavoring teas in this way for decades before the alternate claim. And furthermore, make claim to the recipe!

The English make claim that a gentleman from Jacksons of Piccadilly originated the idea of Earl Grey's Tea. This idea seems suspect to most, however, as the Chinese certainly know alittle bit about the English taking advantage of their tea world. Regardless of the proper claims, neither the Chines or the English make the best Earl Grey. It is, in fact, the Taiwanese!

Try Our Loose Leaf Earl Grey Black Tea For A Treat!

You may have tried Earl Grey before, but never have you tried an Earl grey tea from Taiwan that makes you crave for more - just like this one! Earl grey tea benefits are well know especially when you understand how to drink Earl Grey. Some have gone as far as to make an infusion of Earl Grey milk. We prefer to drink ours with out any addition of milk or sugar. However, you may decide you like it best with the addition, and therefore, take the tea to a higher level of enjoyment. Either way, we know you will enjoy our Earl Grey more than most.

Earl Grey caffeine is at an average amount. However, Earl Grey tea caffeine is almost non existent on the 2nd and 3rd infusions. that's right, our tea is so good you'll easily receive multiple infusions!
